Katherine Harris

Katherine Harris, Osteopath

Katherine Harris is a registered osteopath having graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1992 with a degree qualification.

The next three years were spent gaining valuable experience at a large practice in Ipswich, Suffolk, before taking over the Wantage Osteopathic Practice in 1995. Whilst the practice developed Katherine also worked part time as a clinical tutor at the British School of Osteopathy for two years.

Katherine has had experience working with the Oxfordshire County rugby team and is a member of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association, with a special interest in the treatment of sports injuries. She is a registered provider of osteopathic care with PPP, BUPA and many other private medical insurance plans.

Tina Darnell

Tina Darnell, Osteopath

Tina Darnell is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University where she gained her BSc in Osteopathy. Tina has worked as a locum for various osteopathic practices, where she gained a wide spectrum of experience, before joining the Wantage Osteopathic Practice in 2008. Tina has completed postgraduate training in cranial osteopathy and has a special interest in treating babies and children.


Amy Hewitt

Amy Hewitt, Osteopath

Amy Hewitt is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University where she gained her Masters of Osteopathy degree with Merit. Amy has since completed courses in Acupuncture, including both dry needling and Medical Acupuncture. Amy has a history of competitive athletics that has enhanced her interest in sports rehabilitation and trigger point therapy for muscle pain. Amy has a clinical interest in lymphatic drainage, myofascial techniques and structural osteopathy, with a special interest in the treatment of headaches that stems from her Masters thesis.

Kate Croxford

Amy Hewitt, Osteopath

Kate graduated with a Masters degree in Osteopathy with Merit from Oxford Brookes University. Kate has a previous diploma in Equine Science and has worked extensively with both horses and riders in a highly competitive environment. Kate has a keen interest in sports rehabilitation and in the last three years has worked closely with the Hungerford rugby team, providing taping, rehabilitation and pitch-side assistance. Kate has also assisted with taping and pitch-side for both the Berkshire under twenty-one and Berkshire Men's Rugby teams. Kate also provides osteopathic care for the whole range of non-sports related problems that we treat at the practice.

All of our osteopaths are fully trained and experienced to treat all types of musculoskeletal problems and we can treat patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly.

We have a team of reception staff who are available to answer queries and make appointments.
